SolutionPilot implementation
Designed and implemented, with my team, an internal SolutionPilot platform that brings business tools into one connected workspace. The platform connects operational information that would otherwise sit across separate systems.
It tracks and learns from Freshservice tasks and monitors the Azure environment, giving teams shared operational context for AI-assisted insight and decisions.
Senior Cloud & Solutions Designer
Designed and implemented AI and data solutions with my team for public services. For Justice document summarisation, we brought together Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search and Form Recognizer, alongside governed patterns for AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and GitHub Enterprise with Copilot.
Designed the data model and ingestion pipelines for shared-service billing and inventory: processing raw data in Databricks, landing Parquet files in Azure Storage and loading Azure SQL for reporting. Built Power BI reporting for platform engineering, finance and service consumers, with a common chargeback model across private cloud, OpenShift and other shared services.
Led a team of 13 developers and architects on GoCloud, standardising Azure hosting, automated service delivery and consumption-based chargeback. Designed the architecture for the Ontario Business Registry migration, secure file transfer and the DIRECT drug management platform, including private networking and sensitive-data controls.
PeanutNotesAI product development
Designed and implemented PeanutNotes with my team: an AI learning companion that turns children’s school notes into focused lessons, practice questions and study summaries. Structured generation and validation keep the material connected to the notes being studied.
Built age-appropriate reading, hints and spaced review into the learning experience. Connected learning activity with parent visibility, goals and progress across the web and mobile applications.
HostLaneAI product development
Designed and implemented HostLane with my team: a discovery and planning app with an AI concierge that helps people explore services and organise requests. Conversational assistance connects hotel services, menus and contextual suggestions.
Built the mobile experiences that connect discovery, private chat and shared plans. The concierge works within that service context so people can move from finding something useful to organising a plan.
Scan2DineAI product development
Designed and implemented Scan2Dine with my team, including AI-assisted menu creation that turns photos, PDFs and web pages into structured restaurant menus. The extraction workflow identifies dishes, categories, descriptions and prices.
Built validation and restaurant review into the workflow before publication. Connected the resulting menu data to the guest experience and restaurant management tools, keeping AI output grounded in information the restaurant has reviewed.
Lead Software Architect
Designed and implemented AI-enabled architecture tools with my team, connecting architecture documentation and diagram generation to application delivery. Built Azure OpenAI provisioning, model deployment, regional quota handling and token-based chargeback.
Designed the PostgreSQL data model for tenants, users and application features, with row-level security and automated onboarding. Delivered React and Go services on AKS with private endpoints, identity integration and automated deployment pipelines.
Senior Lead DevOps Engineer
Designed and implemented repeatable cloud delivery with my team for more than 50 business-critical Java microservices. Standardised Azure DevOps delivery from 39 pipelines to 9 through reusable, parameterised workflows.
Delivered PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB deployment patterns, Terraform modules and data-ingestion processes for more than 5 TB of client data. Designed modern data warehouse patterns alongside regional expansion, access controls, observability and production release management.
Senior Cloud Architect · Cyber Crimes
Designed a modern data warehouse and data-movement platform for Cyber Crimes, supporting internal threat analysis and business insights from employee activity data. The architecture brought secure data movement and analytics into a common platform.
Defined ETL patterns with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks and Azure SQL. Included protection of personally identifiable information and support for data-science notebooks so analysis could operate within the required data controls.
Senior DevOps Engineer Lead · Professional Services
Designed and implemented Azure and AWS solutions with my team and automated managed-service operations for Microsoft clients. Owned delivery from discovery and architecture through implementation and technical handover.
Delivered Azure workshops, Active Directory architecture and business continuity planning for organisations including Barrie Public Library, Winchester Hospital and Milgram Canada. Combined technical advisory with the automation and operational practices needed to run those environments.
Technical Specialist Advisory
Designed and implemented the bank’s first public and private cloud platforms with my team. Used infrastructure-as-code, hardened provisioning and bank security standards to establish a foundation for enterprise application delivery.
Onboarded applications including iTrade, Adobe Experience Manager, eTeller and PPM. Automated infrastructure and operational workflows to make application onboarding and ongoing delivery repeatable.
